Dr Mike Partridge Joins the Department of Oncology
Dr Mike Partridge will be joining the Department of Oncology as a Senior Radiation Therapy Physicist Group Leader in the Gray Institute for Radiation Oncology and Biology on 1st March 2012. He will be leading cutting-edge physics and imaging research in the area of Image Guided Radiation Therapy and high precision radiation therapy methods such as IMRT.
Mike brings with him a wealth of experience in the field of radiotherapy. He has spent the past 10 years at the Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust where he helped establish the first PET/CT service within the Royal Marsden and set up a new team investigating the application of functional imaging to radiotherapy planning.
