RESEARCH SUMMARY
The D’Angiolella lab investigates the role of the ubiquitin-proteasome system in cancer cell survival and response to ionizing radiation. My project focuses on the role of an E3 ubiquitin ligase in the RAS oncogenic pathway. This is done with the hopes of exploiting this role to develop novel therapeutic targets for RAS mutant cancers, which constitute almost a third of all cancers.
