Positrons in the energy range 12 - 1000 eV have been used to study monolayers of ω-tricosenoic acid on an aluminum substrate placed at right angles to the incident positrons. Doppler Broadening spectra and the ratios of 3γ/2γ annihilations were used to infer the presence of two annihilation states, possibly associated with the interface between the LB film and the substrate.
