Mammographic imaging is prone to variations in imaging conditions and background, making it difficult to detect signs of breast cancer. A method that would create an image representation that is devoid of changes due to variations in the imaging conditions has been developed. This method allows the simulation of any projective X-ray examination and modeling of any anatomical structures such as cysts and malignant masses.
