Iain Tullis

BSc, PhD

Research Scientist

I develop scientific instruments to address specific biological hypotheses, primarily involving imaging.

This involves designing, building, testing and using these bespoke instruments to help clinicians and other researchers detect and treat cancer.

My research interests involve the instruments:

  • 6 MeV Linear accelerator - Ultra-fast delivery of irradiation: looking at new biology and its applications (FLASH)
  • Fluorescence guided surgery
  • Fluorescence-lifetime imaging microscopy
