Research Assistant / Laboratory Manager

Biography

After completing research looking at the early inflammatory response to 3-D printed synthetic scaffolds for bone regeneration, Kendra went on to do a double Master in Public Health and Reproductive Medicine (excellence) in Australia. From 2009 to 2019 she had gained experience working in Clinical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Haematology and in April 2019 she joined the team at the Sample Handling Laboratory in the Early Phase Clinical Trials Unit, Department of Oncology. 

January 2022 she joined Professor Sarah Blagden's Laboratory in a dual post: Research Assistant/ Laboratory Manager. This role involves contributing to research projects and preclinical studies which explore potential novel cancer therapies.
