Biography

Originally trained as a radiobiologist specialising in radiosensensitizers and stop flow systems, before moving into the isolation and characterisation of difficult to grow human and mouse cells, and ending up using that knowledge to be seconded to a position in cytometry, in particular the study of the radiosensitivity of single cells to ionising radiation at extremely low doses (0.2 Gy) under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.
