Finance Officer (Grants)

A secondment opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer (Grants) in the Department of Oncology. The postholder will be responsible for assisting with the smooth management of part of the department’s large and complex grant portfolio as well as playing an instrumental role in the standardising and continued improvement of finance processes and procedures.
This is an opportunity for someone with excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. You will have relevant financial accounting experience, along with proven experience of computerised accounting systems. You will have good A-level (or equivalent) qualifications, including a good pass in mathematics or other numerical subject. Current knowledge of Oracle Financials is essential and having an accounting qualification such as AAT would be advantageous.
Please note that this opportunity is available only as a full-time secondment opportunity for 1 year.
