Schedule of Assessments:

Assessments will be designed to align with the learning outcomes for each module. A variety of assessment methods will be involved in the course.

Formative Assessments:

Five short essays are assessed to provide formative assessment of students’ progress; feedback is provided to support learning.

Summative Assessments:

Qualifying Examination (MCQ): Pass required Week 9, Term 1 (December)
Essay (15%) Week 7, Term 2 (March)
Examination (25%) Week 9, Term 2 (March)
Dissertation and Viva (60%)

Submission: Mid August

Viva: Early September

Students are provided with written feedback on the dissertation only.

To meet the requirements of the course and to be awarded the Masters degree you must pass all summative assessments.
