Mathematical modelling of tumor-microenvironment dynamics

Biography

Dr Jayathilake is a researcher in Mathematical Biology at the Department of Oncology, University of Oxford. He primarily works on mathematical modelling of tumor-microenvironment interactions. His research interests include Computational Biophysics, Biomechanics and Fluid Dynamics. Prior to joining the University of Oxford, he has worked on several postdoctoral projects on biological modelling at the National University of Singapore, Singapore-MIT Alliance and Newcastle University UK. He received his PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the National University of Singapore and BSc Engineering degree from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
