Jordan Forward

Jordan previously worked as a laboratory technician at the UK Biocentre, which involved processing and storing blood samples from different research projects. Jordan then jointed the team in the Sample Handling Laboratory in the Early Phase Clinical Trials Unit, alongside this role, he is also an undergraduate at the University of Oxford Brookes studying for a BSc in Biology. In his role as clinical trials laboratory technician, he is part of a five-person team which processes research blood samples from oncology trials patients, before shipping off to analysis laboratories on a global scale. The role involves strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and clinical trial protocols. Other responsibilities involve storing and recording research blood samples following HTA regulations for specific biobank projects.
