Clinical Trial Coordinator (2 posts)

We are looking for a Clinical Trial Coordinator to join the Oncology Clinical Trials Office of trial management professionals, running a wide portfolio of early phase and late phase clinical trials, and related sub-studies. The trials work across different tumour types and therapeutic areas and are at varying stages.
You will be responsible for a range of activities including defining study specific procedures, setting up and managing study sites, promoting and monitoring recruitment of subjects, preparing regulatory and ethics submissions, preparing and presenting progress reports, data collection, assisting with analysis and publication of trials.
You should have a degree, or other relevant qualification, in a biomedical or associated subject and demonstrable experience in clinical trial management including understanding of clinical research methodology and good clinical practice. You will need good administrative and project management skills with the ability to work on your own initiative, problem solve and organise the work of a professional team under management guidance.
Whilst the role is a Grade 7 position, we are willing to consider candidates with potential but less experience who are seeking a development opportunity, for which an initial appointment would be at Grade 6 (£27,629 - £32,958 p.a.) with the responsibilities adjusted accordingly. The development from Grade 6 to Grade 7 would be supported with suitable training and clear objectives and it would be expected that the progression from Grade 6 to 7 would be within 12 months. This would be discussed with applicants at interview/appointment, where appropriate.
This is a full-time post which is offered for 2 years in the first instance.
All applicants must complete a short application form and upload a CV and supporting statement. To apply for this role, please click on the ‘Apply Now’ button in the link below.
