Eric has been instrumental in a major piece of work to establish the cancer biology curriculum for clinical oncologist trainees, setting examinations and ensuring standards. The RCR also recognised that this contribution assisted the college during the modernisation of the exam and ensuring the curriculum was kept relevant and state of the art.

Congratulations to Professor Eric O'Neill who has been awarded honorary membership of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR). The award is given in recognition of outstanding contributions to radiation biology, in particular teaching and training.
