 Oxford Residential Week:

You will be required to attend a one-week residential course at St Anne's College, Oxford in the March of Year 2.  This is scheduled at the end of the modular teaching and before the start of your research dissertation. St Anne's is also the home of The Centre for Personalised Medicine.

This is an opportunity for you to meet faculty, students and academics face-to-face, consolidate your learning from the previous 18 months, participate in a lively schedule of talks, debates and presentations and prepare for your own research project. For this, we intend to invite a number of expert guest lecturers.

You will also visit the University's famous Examination Schools to sit your third summative assessment, the formal examination. This will be a three-hour written paper based on the taught modules. Further details of this assessment will be available in the Course Handbook.

Residential accommodation, food and travel:

The full cost of your accommodation is included in the course fee, together with some of your meals. Further details will be available nearer the time.

The cost of travel expenses to Oxford (up to a maximum value) will be reimbursed following approval by the course director.
