Fees
The cost of study at Oxford falls into two categories
1. your annual course fee
2. your living expenses in Oxford
Other fees to support your application may include English language tests and/or a visa.
Funding Opportunities
Please note, while on occasion exceptional applicants for the MSc by Research may be offered funding to complete their studies, this is a self-funded programme and the majority of students will need to source their own funding to cover their tuition fees and living expenses.
The University offers a variety of scholarship programmes based on academic excellence, to give the brightest applicants from around the world the opportunity to pursue graduate study.

Academic Futures is a series of scholarship programmes that will address under representation and help improve equality, diversity and inclusion in our graduate student body. You simply need to submit your completed application by the 9th December deadline and, if you are eligible, you'll automatically be considered. Please take a look at the website for eligibility criteria and further information.
The deadline for applications for funded scholarships on the in MSc by Research in Oncology to start in October 2023 has now passed. The next application deadline will be at 12.00pm (noon) on Wednesday 1st March 2023. This is for unfunded places only, meaning that, if accepted, you will need to provide your own funding to cover tuition fees and living expenses, either by self-funding or via an external scholarship. If you wish to apply for the course on these terms you are still welcome to contact prospective supervisors to discuss potential projects.
