BIOGRAPHY

Demin Li was medically trained in Xi’an, China, where he subsequently obtained his PhD in immunology. He moved to Oxford in 2000 to continue his research in viral and cancer immunology.

His current research interest lies in cancer immunotherapy, including identifying cancer specific peptide epitopes, and using the epitopes to develop cancer therapeutic antibodies, chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cells, cancer vaccines.

He is also a fully qualified GP.
