RESEARCH SUMMARY

Siqi currently is collaborating with the nucleic acid group to study strategies on enhancing nucleic acid therapeutics in cancer. She mainly focuses on utilizing cell-penetrating peptides to deliver small interfering RNA and CRISPR/Cas9. 

BIOGRAPHY

Siqi Li joined Professor Vallis's group, Department of Oncology as a DPhil student in 2020. She is also a collaborative student in the Department of Chemistry. Prior to studying at Oxford, she had her master's degree in molecular medicine at Imperial College London where she contributed to the development of aptamer-based diagnostic tools for type 2 diabetes under the supervision of Professor Tony Cass and Professor Guy Rutter.
