Data Sharing

Sharing data from OCTO trials

Study data remain a valuable resource, even after the life of the study for which they were collected.

Most OCTO trials are ‘science rich’ enabling prospective clinical data and related samples/ imaging to be used in exploratory (basic and translational) research. Sharing enables researchers to open up new lines of enquiry without the duplication of effort and cost involved in collecting the data again.

We administer data sharing via a ‘controlled access’ system.
