Research Summary

My research focuses on using imaging techniques in small-scale trials with the particular ambitions of improving the mechanisms of data analysis and correlating the imaging data provided with histology and treatment outcomes.

Biography

Fergus trained in Cambridge, Papworth and London, and was a Fellow in Radiology at UCLA in Los Angeles. He was appointed to Oxford in 1992, and is head of academic radiology, the director of the Oxford Imaging Trials Unit, and a Divisional Director for the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.

His specialist interests are in PET and hyperpolarized xenon MRI.
