MAKING AN APPLICATION
Applications for 2023/24 entry will be closing at 12.00pm (noon) on Wednesday 1st March 2023.

A fee of £75 is required prior to uploading your complete application. In some circumstances an application fee can be waived.

Applicants should hold, or be predicted to achieve, a first class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honours in a biological or medical subject.
Professional experience will be accepted as a substitute for a relevant undergraduate degree where an equivalent level of understanding and expertise can be demonstrated. You should have some practical exposure to omics, clinical genetics or similar topics, usually via employment in a hospital, medical science-based company or research establishment/ facility.
As the course is primarily delivered online, you will need have good IT skills, be familiar with communicating online with adequate internet provision and audio-visual equipment to engage fully with the course.
The application form
Your application form is the key resource for all admissions decisions including shortlisting for scholarships.
Applicants will be required to supply a standardised CV (further details of which can be found on the graduate admissions page), official academic transcripts and the details of three appropriate referees. Do make sure we receive the references before the closing date otherwise your application will be deemed “incomplete”.

Our graduate admissions round is highly competitive. Places are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and performance at interview.
