RESEARCH SUMMARY

My work is focused on optimising and using models of the tumour microenvironment in colorectal cancer liver metastases to identify and test potential treatment targets and novel therapies.

I previously held postdoctoral positions in the groups of Professor Robin Choudhury (University of Oxford) and Professor Paul Evans (University of Sheffield), focusing on macrophage immunometabolism and atherosclerosis tissue biology respectively. During my PhD I worked on macrophage phenotype biology and was supervised by Dr Heather Wilson, Professor Endre Kiss-Toth (University of Sheffield) and Dr Siew Cheng Wong (A*STAR Singapore).
