Member of the MSc Precision Cancer Medicine Team, a 2- year PT distant learning postgraduate taught  course at the Department of Oncology, Oxford. I am the Teaching Fellow and look after all academic matters for student cohorts, module-lead and organise teaching.

I obtained my PhD  (Molecular Medicine) at  the University of Warwick and then took up a Research Fellow position in Endocrinology and Diabetes until 2009.  I then joined the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in Oxford, as a Senior Researcher, funded by the British Heart Foundation (2009-2024).

My research expertise lies in the areas of Metabolism, Genetics, Cell Biology and I have extensive  experience in cell-based assays, small molecule drug screening for target discovery, molecular phenotyping, protein post-translational modifications and -omics studies/analyses.  I have  worked in therapy areas covering cardiovascular science, diabetes, endocrinology, cancer.

Since 2021 I am a Stipendiary Lecturer in Cellular Biochemistry at St. Peter's College, Oxford, teaching Signalling, Metabolism, Cell structure and organisation, data handling to undergraduate students.
