Dr. Samuel Hume

DPhil alumnus

BIOGRAPHY

My DPhil research used experimental biology techniques to look at how normal cells progress through the cell cycle, and to study how these mechanisms are altered in cancer.

This research is important so that we can better understand how healthy cells become cancerous, and to enable the development of new cancer therapies.

The key papers from my DPhil are Hume et al., Nature Communications 2021 and Hume et al., Nucleic Acids Research 2020
